I had this kind of question for an interview (non-grad, just a uni program). The question was “How would you find out how many koalas there are in Australia?”.
I sorta missed the point of this kind of question and started by saying that it’s important to get an expert in to help you! LOL. But then as I was talking it through I explained that it would be good to take it state by state, and count the habitats in an area and extrapolate.
Luckily, I got through the interview
